A beautiful gift for the new parents that's sure to be cherished forever.  Be sure to use acid-free mattes and papers  to prevent discoloration.  For the frame below, I purchased a deep pocketed silver frame that had a pre cut white matte with a silver heart glued onto it in the corner.  I removed the heart (saving it for another project) and sponge painted medium blue and off white to resemble denim.  After allowing it to dry for 24 hours, I applied the quilled shapes with white glue and allowed it to dry for another 24 hours.  The bear was made with tan paper and a navy blue bow.  Hint: don't make the bear too perfect, so that it will look like a well loved toy that's been propped up against the background.   The flowers are made with navy blue petals, yellow centers, and green leaves/stems.  You can create one of these heirloom pieces to suit your individual taste's...use different colors to match the nursery...other simply made animals like little baby ducks, lambs, bunnies...keep it sweet and simple...just like a baby :)  The possibilities are limitless, have fun with it!
